What is a dermaplane facial?
A dermaplane facial opens with full professional dermaplaning, a sterile single-use blade lifting away the dead surface layer and vellus hair, and then delivers a complete customized facial to the freshly resurfaced skin: treatment serums, a mask chosen for your skin, facial massage, and layered hydration sealed with sun protection.
The order is the entire point. Skincare’s oldest limitation is that products must fight through dead cells and fine hair to reach skin; dermaplaning removes the fight. Serums applied in the minutes after planing absorb dramatically better, masks work on genuinely available skin, and hydration lands where it was aimed. The appointment opens exactly as a dermaplaning session does: consult, cleanse, full drying, then the blade work, section by section on taut skin at a shallow angle, with problem areas mapped and avoided. Painless, precise, about twenty-five minutes.
Then the facial begins on the best skin surface it will ever have.
